JULES BURLAS
Jules is a Texas native who was lured to San Francisco after graduating from The University of Georgia.
Travel and adventure were introduced to her at an early age. Her family relocated to Perth, Australia for five years when she was nine. Throughout those five incredible years she explored Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Bali and more. Fast forward to college graduation and Jules headed out on a month-long solo journey through Thailand and Myanmar before moving to San Francisco. This trip reignited her affinity for the exploration of cultures and the transformation of travel.
Jules started her career as a financial services consultant and found herself living out of her suitcase as often as possible; extending work trips or city hopping on the weekends between client meetings. Eventually she embarked on a three-month sabbatical across Africa, Asia and Australia. This was the final push she needed to make a career change into the hospitality industry.
Whether you need inspiration or trip planning resources for hometown exploring, a weekend getaway, honeymoon retreat, group/family escape, or your next bucket list expedition, Jules will assist you in a memorable adventure! She is focused on curating unique and custom trips based on each clients vision. Jules will focus on the details so her clients can travel with ease and turn-on vacation mode upon departure.

WHERE IS A GREAT TRAVEL LOCATION THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE GO?
Oman. Oman was the first country I visited in the Middle East. This country has a little bit of everything. It is hard to beat immersing in Middle Eastern culture while chasing waterholes, riding camels and going 4x4 in the desert, snorkeling for baby turtles, and admiring the Grand Mosque.
WHAT’S IN YOUR CARRY-ON?
I never board a long-haul flight without compression socks, my Summer Fridays jet lag mask (clear mask for mid-fight hydration!), a pen for immigration forms, and a cozy sweater. A staple in my carry-on suitcase is also a handheld steamer.
WHICH DESTINATIONS DO YOU GO BACK TO AGAIN AND AGAIN?
For the last five years my parents were transferred to Bangkok for my dads job. This provided an excuse to spend every holiday overseas with them. We truly took the time to explore every part of Bangkok and immerse ourselves in their culture, from cooking their delicious food to learning Thai. Every year we explored a new city, town, or region in the country. The country is so diverse from bustling cities to northern jungles to stunning beaches and islands. One thing that is consistent, and the reason I love this country so much, is the genuinely kind and always smiling Thai locals.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE?
One of my most memorable travel experiences was a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti National Park to ring in the new year on January 1st. This was the perfect top-off to an incredible safari and experiencing the circle of life. No better vantage point to admire the Serengeti and all the beautiful wildlife!
