Grace was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA but has since lived in Lexington, VA, Charleston, SC, Jacksonville, FL, and Sicily, Italy. She and her husband currently call Japan home and hope to stay for another 2-3 years before moving onto their next big adventure.

Living abroad for the last 5 years has given Grace the opportunity to truly immerse herself in new cultures, and has triggered a love of the new, the different, and the unexplored.

Her passion for food and wine have led her to some of the best hidden gems in Europe's most exciting travel destinations. Grace's on the ground experience help her plan trips that take you beyond airfare and hotels and into the oldest neighborhoods, the up-and-coming chic parts of town, the classic restaurants, and the swanky new eateries. She believes in helping you really experience a new culture by seeing that culture through locals eyes, through the traditional food, wine, markets, festivals, sites and sounds. You can count on her to plan a trip that is at once adventurous and rejuvenating. Stimulating for the new experiences but relaxing because every detail is covered.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL TIP?

Underpack! Overpacking makes travel feel bulky and difficult, while hopping a bus, plane, or train with just a light roller bag can be liberating! Underpacking also leaves space in your bag for fabulous foreign goodies and decreases the pressure of changing clothes several times a day. I always plan to adventure instead of outfit change.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE DESTINATION TO PLAN?

My (hands down) favorite type of trip to plan is an African safari. Especially for first timers! I remember the absolute magic of my first safari and it really excites me to think about helping someone else have that experience. The best part of planning a safari is that it will always exceed expectations - so I can plan with confidence, knowing that my clients are in for a very special treat.

WHAT RECOMMENDATION WOULD YOU GIVE A COUPLE LOOKING FOR A ROMANTIC GETAWAY?

Experience something special together. My husband and I find that the travel moments we reflect on most are the ones where we've done something really incredible - sunrise hot air ballooning in Morocco, dog sledding in the arctic, game drives in South Africa, skiing under the looming Matterhorn, cooking a meal with the owner of a winery, etc. Beaches and cities are great, I find that nothing bonds you quite like experiencing something incredible together.
